We have had this basket for a year now and it is perfect for our 8kg Shih Tzu. She loves to sit, ride and watch. After the initial assembly, the basket can be easily removed and placed on the bike - just click on the lock! In addition, there is an outer pocket that is perfect for our foldable water plate. I don't remember having any major problems installing it. Simply bolt the mount to the bike and add adjustments for a tight fit if necessary. Once it was enabled I didn't have to configure it at all. On one occasion I had to contact the seller about something and they were very helpful and responsive. Overall this was a great product for us and exactly what we were hoping for!
