Review on Delxo Two-Step Folding Steel Stepladder with Handgrip, Anti-Slip Pedal Design, Sturdy and Wide, 330lbs Capacity, White and Black Combo, 2 Feet by Corey Vaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very stable with wide steps

I bought this for face painting so I didn't have to take a bar stool and step stools with me. For this purpose it worked well. Children can easily climb the stairs and take a seat. The seat width is wide enough for most adults, and the recommended weight makes me comfortable with parents holding small children on their laps with ease. It's nice that the handle flexes. This leaves more space on the seat and I can also fold it over my shoulder (like a bag) which relieves pressure on my hips. Just make sure the kids don't lean back, they can slip and fall off their backs. The rubber grip on the steps is of good quality, with grooves, and I don't think it will come undone. I had to deduct a star for several reasons. It's a little hard. I almost wish it was aluminum. I suppose it wouldn't carry as much weight as it would, but when I have to walk very far it starts to hurt in my shoulder and it gets a little unwieldy to put on the back of a car. This is not a problem for home use but can be difficult for an elderly person to lift and store. In fact, the IS is made of aluminum and is now curved. I have to put the ladder at about 45 degrees to fold it down and this can create a crush hazard if you're not careful. Just hold your left hand by the curved handle and not by the back legs. PROS: Stable, safe, wide steps, can be used as a chair thanks to the rounded handle CONS: Weight, gravity lock
