I am unexpectedly impressed with this set. I've read countless reviews, all touting its high performance and reasonable price, but none of them have told me how good the unit actually sounds. Look, I know this isn't a dedicated Atmos system. There are no ceiling speakers that reproduce real overhead sound. I know the subwoofer performance and frequency response is not up to par. Note that this system will not compete with the dedicated Atmos system. But for $2-300, you can't beat this deal. I promise you that this system plays well with systems that are 2-3 times more expensive. I bought a refurbished unit on sale for $280 and would easily pay double that for the sound quality.
