Review on SA443 Metal/Magnetic Hoop for Brother/Babylock Embroidery Machine - Perfect Fit for Designio DZ820E, Innov-ís 1000, NS1150E, PE Series, Simplicity by Brother SB7900E by Amber Perez

Today I received the tire and had to try it. First let me say that I ordered this for my brother PE770. I've had this terrible frame envy for quite some time and the frame has never been the best part of machine embroidery. So after mailing hundreds of towels, t-shirts, polos, etc. I was seriously jealous of all these machines that could be used with DIME hoops, Magna hoops, and all snap frames, fast frames, you know. I studied them all, disappointed with the price. I can't remember exactly how I came across this product and to be honest there was more than disbelief. The advertised value was about a third of the value of established brands. There are no reviews either. I never buy products without reviews. In this case, 4 days of 22 polo shirts with 3 layers of fleece in the tire frame drove me to despair. So I dared. With my main membership it was there in the promised 2 days. I was a bit concerned after opening the box, the hoop itself is quite heavy and I was concerned that it might be too big for the device and pull on it. The hoop fitted the unit perfectly and was well attached. The top is flocked so you don't have to worry about snagging or rusting. There are raised marks on the top, bottom and sides to indicate center alignment and it comes with a plastic grille. Contains 4 small but strong magnets. So far I've made a terry towel and a light knit polo. The magnets held without any problems. So far I am 100% satisfied with this loop. I have 2 items on my wish list for future improvements. The raised markings in the center of the tire were easy to see but when closed the material makes them a bit harder to feel so it would be great to make them stand out more. And having extra magnets would be a bonus. 4 lasted, but I don't think they would be too good for a heavier item like a denim jacket or bath towel. I went to the manufacturer's website but I didn't find any magnets. One of the ladies in my sticker group had some good suggestions for additional magnets, but it would be great if 2 more were included. Overall 5 stars. I will update if there are any concerns, still skeptical of its weight but so far it's worth the money.
