Review on ELEGOO Nano V3.0 Board without USB Cable, CH340/ATmega+328P, Arduino Nano Compatible (Pack of 3) by Sung Shorunov

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple, easy assembly with the product currently supplied

ELEGOO Nano works perfectly. Here's my experience: I downloaded the IDE from the Microsoft Store a week ago and the installation went flawlessly. I've been using it for about a week with my UNO and various sketches I've done including using an IR remote to control two types of servos. When I received and plugged in the ELEGOO Nanos from Revain, a compatible driver was found. automatically Windows 10. I checked this by going to Device Manager >> USB Controllers and there were no exclamation marks. I then went to Device Manager >> View >> Show Hidden Devices, then Device Manager >> Ports. I saw a USB_SERIAL CH340 (COM4) entry that looked like Nano. The Blink demo is already running. Then I went to IDE>>Tools>>Board and selected the Arduino Nano. Then IDE >> Tools >> Processor and select Old Bootloader. Then IDE>>Tools>>Ports and COM4 selected. I uploaded the Blink sketch to the IDE, changed the on time to 3 seconds and clicked the upload arrow. This worked as expected. I then uploaded my servo/IR sketch after reconnecting to the Nano and the program worked as expected with the smaller servo but choked on the larger one. I replaced (just) the servo power supply with a 4-cell AA battery, connected the grounds of the nano and AA cells, and both servos worked fine. ELEGOO must now deliver a better product than what the previous reviewers had to endure. I learned from their hard work. Five stars for me. The picture shows a breadboard with UNO r3 (disabled) and Nano on it, two servos, IR remote and battery box. LEGO pull switches are now remote controls. grandson is happy!
