Description of ELEGOO Nano V3.0 Board without USB Cable, CH340/ATmega+328P, Arduino Nano Compatible (Pack of 3)

It is a smallest, complete, and breadboard friendly board. It has everything that Diecimila/Duemilanove has (electrically) with more analog input pins and onboard +5V AREF jumper. Nano's got the breadboard-ability of the Boarduino and the Mini+USB with smaller footprint than either, so users have more breadboard space. It's got a pin layout that works well with the Mini or the Basic Stamp (TX, RX, ATN, GND on one top, power and ground on the other). The Nano can be powered via the Mini-B USB connection, 7-12V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27). The power source is automatically selected to the highest voltage source.

It would be ideal if he used Micro-USB instead of Mini-USB

Just started fiddling with this and all three were able to upload the sketch with no problems. For the price they seem to work great and I like their small size (great for a project I don't want to stuff a full size Uno into). My only complaint is that they opted for mini-USB instead of the smaller (and currently much more common) micro-USB, which is the only reason I gave it one star. It would be easy enough to desolder them when adding them to a permanent project (although that would make…

Works just like the Arduino Nano, just a few extra steps required!

Everything works on Windows 8 too. Just install the CH340.zip drivers. The default is Uno, not Nano. That's why people have problems. Check the settings in the Arduino IDE. I've posted the correct settings you should have below. Please see the attached images for more information. It comes with LED backlight. I edited it to add a 5 second delay to test these 3 boards. See pictures below. The conclusion is that all the boards work as nano arduinos as advertised and the sketches upload…

Great little project board! Finished work on Big Sur

What a great price - 3 nano boards for about $5 each. This is a true ATmega chip and while the USB driver chip is not the more common FT brand, no drivers are needed in 2021. I love that it's a tiny Arduino compatible board, very inexpensive, and has exactly what I need to make a project out of it - no headers, just a USB header, simple LEDs, and through-holes. The unregulated power input is amazing (default for nano style), I can just plug it into the 12V DC wall adapter already used in the…

I've used many of them over the past few months with no problems.

I really didn't want to buy these because I didn't want to develop designs around them only to find out they were incompatible or unstable or worse I would get a few bad ones. . and spent his time fixing the prototype. But considering the price (less than $4 at the time of writing this review) I couldn't help but try it. Since then I've bought about a dozen and I'm happy to say that they all worked flawlessly no matter what I used them for. I hooked up a bunch of analog sensors to these little…

Super Value: Single Board Computers

I ordered two sets (six nanos). Everything checked perfectly. For MAC, use the web address on the order page and download the NANO files. The serial port driver is included in this package. Otherwise it will not be recognized by your Arduino IDE. Just download, unzip and run the process. Reboot and you now have a port to work with in the IDE. Select the Arduino Nano and make sure the AT mega328P processor is selected so you can successfully communicate with the bootloader. The download package…

Simple, easy assembly with the product currently supplied

ELEGOO Nano works perfectly. Here's my experience: I downloaded the IDE from the Microsoft Store a week ago and the installation went flawlessly. I've been using it for about a week with my UNO and various sketches I've done including using an IR remote to control two types of servos. When I received and plugged in the ELEGOO Nanos from Revain, a compatible driver was found. automatically Windows 10. I checked this by going to Device Manager >> USB Controllers and there were no…

Great price, with one small caveat.

These are good nano clones; definitely good quality. However, I think it would be a good idea for Elegoo to inform potential buyers of these 3 packages in the product description that the Arduino IDE must be properly configured to use the ATmega328P (the old bootloader, not the standard ATmega328P bootloader) to use. If you look in the user manual/tutorial there is no mention of this required setting, but it is mentioned in the FAQ that comes with the CH340 drivers. So be prepared to read…
