no longer be satisfied. There's a crisp graphic of what's underneath, precise depth that never fails, and a good picture of what the ground looks like. Installation was easy except we ran an extension cord on our Carver 500 which is not a product issue. I wanted a NEMA2000 version that isn't available nationwide but isn't really needed. We hooked it up to our Garmin MFD and it worked straight away with no setup required. Just hooked up a sonar. Our thru-hull transducers are out of service and I will not be going back to thru-hull models. It pointed hundreds of feet deep in the Atlantic and just inches below the keel on ICW. Love the accuracy and don't have to worry about cleaning the transducer like through the case.
