One of the best upgrades you can make

I'm postponing writing a review until I've fermented a few batches, but now that I've just finished my third I have the feeling , I can give a good honest review for those discussing the purchase. I've always used large bottles and bubblers for fermentation, I've used glass and plastic and got the same results. The only thing I didn't use was the conical jar, so I was a little hesitant to try it for fear I wouldn't like it. I watched every YouTube video and read every article and forum post I could find where people were watching. I found many different levels of love or hate for him to be honest, but there are far more positive reviews than negative ones. So I ordered one. When I received it I immediately wanted to hang it on the wall and just see how beautiful it looks and be proud that I had taken the next step in my homebrewing career. As I put all the pieces together, I realized something was wrong. On the side marked gallons was a threaded spot which I assumed was a protective tube and on the other side (exactly the same spot but on the opposite side) was a 1/2 inch hole which I couldn't figure out without what it's for, so I emailed FastFerment to see if it's a bad vessel. I got a reply from them the same day and they told me it was definitely a bad product. They left me a new cone to take care of the one I received and they got it to me fast enough for me to use next weekend I planned my first batch for this. I was very satisfied with their professionalism and response time. As for the assembly, it is extremely easy, although the instructions could be improved. BUT, even just looking at the picture on the box, it's easy to tell what goes where. A roll of teflon tape/plumber is included and you should use that. I recommend making 6 or 7 passes around the d of each male thread listed in the instructions. I haven't had any issues with leaks when doing it that way. Attaching the brackets to the wall was also very easy. I ended up marking the distance between them at 15 3/4", which lined up perfectly with the center of each set of tacking holes. Like I said, I've had 3 batches through my conical and they turned out great! other fermenters, I would Always use a primary and secondary container, but with this device I don't have to do that anymore. When the primary fermentation is complete, close the valve, remove the ball, either collect the yeast or discharge the yeast, sanitize the ball, set Open it up again and open the valve. It doesn't get any easier than that. The only two things I had a bit of trouble with was unscrewing the top cap and bottom cap. The top cap is a bit large to get a good grip , and it comes from a guy with pretty big hands and the bottom ball is a bit hard just because it gets pretty sticky when it gets on the thread of the liquid threaded lever to unscrew gr great inconveniences. Overall I'm happy with my cone, I've installed two of these and there's room to hang a third in the coming months. still cleaned)
