At first everything was fine. There weren't any problems to be honest. But after playing a fighting game with him for a long time, not only did I start to constantly encounter crappy input errors that caused me to make the wrong move in the D-Pad fighter. I lost communication with the controller, although the small LED never went off or went off. does it make any sense My controller doesn't seem to disconnect but still loses connection? Not only did I have to deal with a D-Pad that kept mistyping my inputs (mostly backwards), but shutting it down was a major turn off. It wasn't that I could lose the connection that pissed me off, but the fact that I couldn't/wasn't able to turn off the controller to quickly swap out my controller for a better one, very quickly. Press and hold the PS 3 home button on the controller as the controller will turn off without turning off the controller. This means my console still thinks it's connected to an LED that's still lit even when no more keys, presses, or inputs are registered. So all I had to do was shut down or restart the console to switch to a working controller. That upset me greatly. I brought a cheaper Chinese PS3 controller and it's much better than this poorly made controller. For each other I haven't had a problem with it turning on or off so far. And most importantly, my fighting game inputs are more consistent with proper registration. I can still get a few typing errors, but it's not as common as this controller's terrible D-pad recognition. I really wanted to like this controller but it fails and has serious problems after just a month? It is unforgivable to me how poor quality this controller is. Based on my experience, I don't recommend this controller especially for fighting games. Use this controller instead. This one works much better without losing connection and constantly recognizing valid input.
