***THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SAFE! *** Both ends of the lamp are pin contacts, not in a touchproof socket. This means that when the lamp is connected, the open end is live at 120V, so touching the end with a finger could result in an electric shock or possibly death. Worse, the non-polarized connector and single-pole switch means that even when it's off, there's a 50/50 chance of a live connection at the end (depending on the orientation of the connector) and if you touch the stylus while holding yours If the printer body is grounded, you could get an electric shock.
