I was trying to make a wooden spacer to roll out my German Springerle cookies and when I saw this online I ordered it straight away! OOOOO very satisfied! I have a homogeneous dough, and the biscuits are baked at the same time so that the Springerl look nice. It made my job a lot easier. It has so many heights that I can use it to roll out almost anything I want to make - cooked dumplings or noodles, pie crust, biscuits - you name it, and it's wide enough to make a large amount of dough for one roll. A caveat I read when purchasing that someone wrote in a review I'll skip because I think it's a good idea. Do not immerse the reel in water to clean it - a small amount of water may seep into the reel - but it is very easy to clean with a damp cloth and dry before storing. I LOVE this video! Makes a wonderful gift.
