This is the first pair of bike shorts I've bought. Up to this point I had only worn cycling shorts. If like me you are interested in bibs then I have to tell you they are worth the investment. These bibs have been a huge improvement in comfort for my cycling. These bibs are very thin and light. I found the pillow in it very comfortable and well made. My first ride on them was 42 miles and they performed well. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair right after the first ride with them. My only criticism of these bibs is that the shoulder straps feel a bit flimsy and if anything fails I suspect it will be in that area but only time will tell how they hold up. If you are interested in sizing - I am 5ft 9in and 215lbs and size XL fits me perfectly.
