Review on LUFFWELL Adjustable Dog Prong Collar with Quick Release Buckle, Upgraded Pinch Choke Collar for Small Medium Large Dogs - Nylon Strap and Stainless Steel Links with Protective Rubber Caps by Charles Mcneil

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fixed size - does not stretch

I've had a few of these clasp and clasp collars and the idea is that they don't catch the dog until it breaks off and the collar is tight. As soon as the dog stops pulling, the collar relaxes and the pressure is released. This collar looks like it should but doesn't. The collar is a fixed size, and the pulling dog causes the barbs to pierce the front of the neck, not all the way around. So the problem is that you either remove the links so the collar is always tight/tight or you leave the collar loose. In addition, the closure is excellent - the collar is very easy to put on and take off. Good links, plastic guards if you need them and generally a great collar but not a choker style if you need or prefer that.
