The package arrived today and I was delighted! I just received the old C1 this weekend and was ready to hang it on the wall. I did some research and saw $10 products at my local Lowes store but decided that to avoid mistakes I should spend more on a quality spike finder. So I spent $26 on it and waited for the weekend for it to arrive. My excitement about my new TV quickly evaporated as I spent the next 40 minutes getting it up and running. I even bought a new battery thinking it wasn't working properly because the old battery had been sent. Unfortunately it was just a nail finder that didn't work. I made my first lines and found that the difference between the top of the wall and the bottom was about 3 inches. I measured again and both lines came out inches from the original lines. I walked up and down the wall, drawing lines every 6 inches in case my studs were made of multiple pieces of wood. To my dismay, I found that every time I made new lines, I was measuring the same spot again after a few seconds, and the lines were always COMPLETELY different from each other. I asked my wife to try it and the same thing happened to them. They just gave up after 2 minutes saying the product was rubbish and got on with their lives. So disappointed. Don't just waste money, save time (and possibly the life of your TV)
