Moving the router is easier.

Moved my router to the living room and was about to run new Category 5 cables but found them. Unplugged my device and took it to the living room, ran a cable from the living room to the router and used the connector to connect the cable to my gaming PC at the router's original location. Simple and time-saving, works well and I recommend this as a simple answer to how to splice two category 5 cables back to back.
