Bright light on connection.

Hardest part was finding a ground. The paint used on vehicles today insulates well. Even a bare screw head was insulated. Finally hooked to the frame. The other places chosen were in the area of the tail assembly. The device had enough wire to hook to the frame; just wasn't as convenient as the area around the tail light assembly.

Pros

Easy way to check shorts in old vehicles.

Cons

The circuit tester can sometimes give inaccurate readings, leading to misdiagnosis of electrical issues and potentially dangerous situations
