April 2021 Update: I am changing my 5 star rating to 4 after using these cases for 2 years I keep the water at 50psi (Hulls quote 90psi max) but 2 out of 3 hulls buckled under pressure at bottom, cracked and leaked. The first hull broke and sprayed a fine mist onto the carpet all day, soaking that part of the basement. I suggest reinforcing the bottom of the hulls with epoxy and structural fibers. Also, be sure to lubricate the o-rings or they will bind and leak during reassembly. I used some olive oil applied with a paper towel. First review: I've just bought a house with a newborn on the way, but found that our water has very high levels of chlorine (even in water reports). Our hair became brittle and our skin itched, especially in clothes or under sheets. I assumed it was the water as I could smell it slightly when someone was showering or doing laundry. I have trusted Geekpure to provide a quality product for my family and newborn. I am happy to report that the system is working. The first thing I noticed was that two of the three huge hulls had minor damage. It was one of many alignment lugs in the canister to help center the filter, but it actually worked fine. The company asked for a photo of the damage and immediately sent me two new head assemblies and the canister as a bonus. I am giving them to a friend who has moved to my area because they will work well. The photo shows how I set mine.1. Water supply valve2. pressure regulator3. Pressure gauge (optional)4. Large Blue Canister with Pressure Gauge for Geekpure8 Carbon Filters (Optional) If using rigid piping, you will need to level the piping well before installing the brackets and mounting hardware provided. I had to drill through a cinder block wall, so I decided to turn the included mounting brackets upside down so I could mark the drilling pattern on the wall while holding the entire filter assembly in place. Fasten my filter heads together before mounting them on the wall and it won't leak, but I would advise using fully threaded nipples about 2 inches long to ensure a good seal between the filter heads. If it's leaking, you'll have to take everything apart to fix it. I saw a customer comment on here somewhere about leaking filter seals and water leaking from the canister filter head interface. I've experienced this with one of the canisters, but I'm pretty sure the o-ring was dry and twisted when the canister was tightened (with the included filter wrench). I fixed this by lubricating the o-ring with olive oil on a paper towel. That's enough to get good pressure. onto the o-ring and ensure a snug fit. I expect it to stay in place for at least 6 months (maybe a year) so I tightened my canisters until they were quite strong. There are no leaks. In my photo, the water cooler sits under the node because the pressure gauge on the right is leaking. I wanted to use it to measure the remaining filter life when water is actively entering the home. Instead, I can plug in the choke. I'm not a plumber so I'm glad everything else is leak free. Edit: A month has passed and no leaks. I ended up removing the exhaust pipe and tightening the T in front of the gauge. The water is still well filtered. I can test city water by running my rotary filter right in front of the big blue filters and it's still heavily chlorinated. However, our tap water is not like that.
