I would like to think I know a thing or two when it comes to wet sanding car paint and restoring headlights. I bought this specifically so I could hand sand with a 3" velcro/velcro using these sanding sheets to restore the headlights. I tried both wet and dry sanding methods but didn't even finish half of the headlight. I noticed that the abrasive stopped cutting and almost just rubbed against the plastic (headlight). I put on a new pad and continued. but the paper was smooth and I could visually confirm that most of the abrasive was off the sanding pad. That said, I gave 4 stars because while the pad didn't work as well as I'd hoped given the number of pads included, the variety of pads included and the drill with a 3" soft velcro sanding pad are still a plus good value compared to what you would get at a hardware store. Still not exactly what I was looking for, but still enough to get the job done on a machine or two. If you're just trying to get the job done with your car's headlights, this should work just fine.
