I try to remain skeptical anytime I spend money on audio equipment as there are many things that tend to misrepresent themselves. It's not one of those things. It's excellent as a desktop DAC/amp and sounds great with Sennheiser's 660S headphones. You will hear everything on the record and it will sound good. A deeply intimate sound that makes me want to listen to records I've heard a thousand times and listen to them again. If you want to use it as an LDAC Bluetooth preamp for balanced active monitors, it can do that too.
