Good way to plan a healthy diet

This meal planner is good for a single person or for a family. It's an easy way to plan healthy meals or to look at past trends. Since we have a vegetarian and some dietary sensitivities, I use it for myself only. If you want to get the whole family involved, there is a section for jobs to be assigned, such as setting the table or cleaning up after the meal.I like to plan a few days' meals in advance when I go to the grocery store. It helps me make a list and get just what I need. For the following few days, I use it more to record what I ended up eating, which is often leftovers from my planned meals. There are boxes with four lines each to write down what I had for daily meals and snacks. Usually this is enough space, but sometimes I have to cram extra foods into the box. There are also boxes to make note of items needed for a meal or what to prep ahead of time. I find I don't use these boxes very much, but I do like to jot down items in the section for what to use up. It helps me make the most of my groceries and eliminate waste. The feature I like best is the Balance column in which I can enter the number of servings of the food groups I've had each day. It gives me a good picture of how well I am eating.I like to use pencil in this planner so that I can erase. I often find what I actually ate is different from what I planned. Pencil writes well on this paper. It is easy to remove what I have written and enter something new when necessary. The size of the booklet is perfect, manageable and not too big. I am filling it up quickly though and will likely need another. Overall, it's a useful tool that I am happy to have at my disposal.

This book is an excellent size, very well made and comes with strong and sturdy pages meant to be written on. The book can help with a multitude of things. It works very well keeping track of what you need to get when shopping. It most importantly works well at keeping track of what you have eaten, plan on eating and wish to eat especially if you are trying to get healthy or loose weight. Without being a diet journal it helps you keep a watchful eye on the trends you are keeping and being aware of whether you are getting to your goals or not. Very helpful.
