Good weight - durable.

I bought two different types of tires for two different purposes. This should be used when embroidering. I've used plastic tires for years, but they need to be tightened too often. Several of my embroidery books mention using a beech frame so I decided to give it a try. The reason for the 4 stars is that I have to grind off a rough spot on the outer tire - otherwise it seems good and solid. I will wrap the inner ring with a strip of white fabric or bias tape as recommended in the same books before inserting the fabric into the hoop. It's good value for money and I didn't have to pay the high shipping cost from England.

This frame is perfect for all kinds of crafts, embroidery, cross stitch, edging or even fabric. Your work will look amazing when finished in these convenient and easy to use wooden frames.
