I connected this device to this USB to RS-232 adapter: USB to RS-232 adapter to USB port on embedded CPU running Linux (with appropriate drivers installed). I can now send serial data from an embedded Linux board to an application on my PC via BlueTooth. It was almost too easy! The hardest part was finding the right port for the PC as sometimes it seemed like it would find TWO BlueTooth serial ports.
