Only one star off because of the terrible packaging! - I had to use kitchen scissors and a screwdriver, and it took me about 15 minutes to cut the packaging just enough to get the device out. After I disassembled and assembled it, it works great. Keep in mind that there isn't much of a difference between low and high settings - both are very loud. This takes a full 30 seconds, which seems excessive - in fact, 10 seconds would be enough. But overall it works great and my pesky cat doesn't get anywhere near his favorite marker corner where it's set. If it wasn't so expensive I would buy a few more. Whatever it is, I just have to move it from time to time.
