There were so many differing opinions on sizing that I knew I had to try both. So I left the XS and sent the little one back. In fact, there wasn't much difference between them. Both are very tight (as it should be, it looks like a wetsuit), in fact I didn't notice much of a difference in density around the torso between them. If you're looking for a looser swim shirt, look elsewhere. The length was good on both. I have a long torso and they were both long enough for me - the little one could be 1/2 inch longer. The main reason the little one came back was because the only place I noticed a size difference was on her neck. It was bulky and floppy and made for a person who weighs more than me. There was also a lot of excess material on the back, right where you have the armpit crease. For reference, I weigh 97 pounds and am 5 feet 2 inches tall.
