Just a soft thread, no core in the thread
I needed wicks that could stand up straight for oil candles (regular olive oil lamps). The wicks must have a core (usually zinc) to stand up straight. They're just soft filament on a spool with nothing in it, so they're not suitable for oil candles unless you're making hard wax candles that can hold the filament.
