There are some great reviews online, lots of details, pics etc. See Nick man. I hope others didn't say so. The single best feature is the flexible data screens: up to 3 screens with 10 fields each. About 60 parameters with a speed/cadence sensor and another 10 with a power sensor. Personal disappointment: I would only give the GPS performance a "2+". It will work around my house (unlike the other four GPS units I've tried), but it won't track me when I'm walking through my local mall (which my Qstarz GPS sensor will do). A few things to note: New: Be wary of significant discounts, at least for now. The device's software seems to have undergone some changes, which means that it can still change a bit: the good news is that it's very easy to update the device code online. I've had no issues with this review and I rely 100% on Garmin to provide support. The internal memory of the device has 105 MB, of which approx. 90 MB are available for route recording, heart rate, speed, etc. etc. how long is that . depends a lot on what you are doing and what sensors are active. He records when he sees a change in something. Long, smooth, straight rides use up memory more slowly than aggressive mountain biking. You can of course insert a micro SD card with plenty of storage space, but you will have to remove any SD card that may be used. The internal memory will surely satisfy all my needs. When using a watch-like device, I was concerned that the PC and online software cannot (yet?) be used to set all device parameters. Don't worry, the touchscreen interface is very smooth and easy to use. It took me time to map out the many branches of the menu tree. (There are a few steps that were wrong in the manual, but the online FAQ cleared my confusion). Wishful thinking: The UI looks fairly software-driven, which means Garmin might add a few things in the future. My two wishes would be a classic wind rose (with a few custom radio buttons) and a heart chart like elevation profile screen. (There is already a tiny heart rate chart there). Conclusion: I am very satisfied with the product.
