I use this for the ice bucket in the freezer. My son is sensitive to how cold this shovel gets, so he always has a paper towel wrapped around the handle. If I were to suggest an improvement I would place the grip in rubber markers to avoid the frozen metal coming into contact with the skin. However, it has been used in the freezer for months, thawed and refrozen over and over again through use and washing, and it has set perfectly. It's big enough to scoop a good portion of ice cream, but small enough to fit in an ice cream basket without taking up too much space. I was worried when I saw sweat marks where the handle meets the bucket that it wouldn't hold up, so I used it for a couple of months before posting this review. I can say that it lasts and does its job perfectly!
