I selected this item for use with the flight simulator so I can interact more directly with some of the flight instruments and use the second screen for cockpit displays. Image quality and touch controls are top notch. Functionally, this is exactly what I was looking for with limited space. Bright enough for a small display, this monitor is sharp and delivers 1080p resolution. A bit lacking in settings. I had some trouble getting the touchscreen to work on my desktop. I had to reboot several times instead of turning on plug and play. Using it with my laptop was no problem. The monitor was connected via 2 USB-C cables. 1 for powering the display, the second for the display itself to the laptop. For the desktop, I used an HDMI to USB cable (for touchscreen). I had to restart several times for my computer to be recognized properly. I also needed to set up a touchscreen on my desktop via Google. A little more in the installation guide would be helpful for non-technical people. The only feature I can't speak to is the sound. I don't need it from this monitor so I mute it in favor of the desktop. When I first plugged it in, it completely took over my sound, hence the plug and play issue. All in all a good purchase and I am happy with this device.
