Compact IPS screen, easy to see from any angle, touchscreen works but not with our old NVR

Compact IPS screen easy to see from all angles, touchscreen works but not with our old NVRI to use with our Network Video Recorder (NVR) so I was able to forego a large monitor taking up a ton of space took up on the shelf and was poorly visible. because of bad viewing angle. I also consciously went with the touchscreen to forgo the mouse and keyboard, but unfortunately that part didn't work. The touchscreen works well when connected to a Windows 10 PC, but touches are not recognized when connected to the dash cam's USB port. I'm assuming the DVR only expects a mouse or keyboard. Too bad :( I'm still very happy with the screen. It's small like a tablet, which is exactly the size I was looking for: small enough not to take up extra space in a network closet, but big enough to be seen to become four surveillance cameras at the same time. The screen is an IPS screen, so it's very clear and easy to see from every angle. I also like that it has a full-size HDMI port on the side, so I don't have to fiddle with any had to use mini hdmi to hdmi cable port is on the side but has a second hdmi port that plugs into the back of the screen that you can use if you don't want that cable (a for power and one for touch control), a USB power port, an HDMI cable, a ballpoint pen with a pen on the back, a microfiber cloth, and a pair of feet for standing or mounting (plus screws and a small screwdriver) Pretty much everything I need call him right now. The buttons are on the back, which is fairly typical even for large screens these days. Since you can't see what they are from the front, all you have to do is remember their location if you intend to use them frequently. I have no such plans. When I first connected the screen to my dash cam, I connected an HDMI cable and a USB cable to the touch port and left the USB power connector for last. To my surprise, the screen turned on and I could see the camera image without plugging in the USB power port, so of course the touchscreen port can also be used as a power port. However, connecting both devices did not affect the NVR's touchscreen capabilities. The good news is that I can use a USB cable to power it, and this cable can be plugged directly into the NVR's USB port, so I don't have another cable to the power outlet. I know this screen. made specifically for the Raspberry Pi, but it's great for my compact screen application for our NVR security cameras. I recently cleaned out my network closet and getting rid of the huge obscure screen was a big step. I was disappointed that the touchscreen didn't work with the NVR, but I don't blame the screen for that. It just means I have to buy a compact keyboard with a trackpad until I'm ready to upgrade the NVR to touchscreen compatibility. I'm even considering buying a second of these screens for our media server mini pc. I hope my review was helpful to you. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions for improvement. Thanks very much!
