A few months ago I had a really horrible allergic reaction to something that put my lips in a feedback loop: they were terribly cracked, itchy, sore and swollen and then reacted to almost any lip balm that I serve (usually Burt's Bees). To my knowledge, the fruit oils or extracts found in most lip balms seem to have made the problem worse. This balm was the only thing that didn't make my lips react and it's the only one I use now. The tube is more convenient to carry than a tin can (so you don't have to mess it up by touching it and you don't mess up your finger). I always have the phone at home and at work.
