I love these colors

I love these colors. great big pots. These colors should not be mixed much. They don't look like gouache, some compared, hard, some opaque. There is little color in the pots. I thought maybe it's because the color is very concentrated. I was surprised when I reached the bottom of the pan fairly quickly. I love the feel of this color. great colors and it was fun learning to mix non-own colors and experimenting with white. I would like to try metallic paints. I will post my opinion on this set later. The box doesn't bother me. It's beautiful and durable, with a coating that the pans rest on. I'm not worried about the box getting wet. This is a great set for studio use and a good price compared to other reputable Japanese watercolor brands. will accompany me for a long time. Finding a refill to the brim of this color would be great. I gave it four stars out of five because I think pots should be at least half to three quarters full. I could change that if I knew there was a good reason to stop filling the pans. I like big pots. Some pans had a white layer of salt on top. This is not a problem and appears to be a natural occurrence with this colour. Some pots have cracked. You can fix this by adding a few drops of water and the paint will heal as it dries.
