4th-generation Subaru Forester with a 2.2-liter atmosphere Reviews and the fact that my wife has a TR257 influenced my decision to purchase this rubber as a replacement for a worn-out Dunlop Grandtrek PT3. The very first thing that struck my attention was the fact that, in contrast to the TR257, there is not one single drainage system that is more successful in terms of its hold on asphalt. For a period of ten days of continuous use (yeah, the phrase is silly, but sufficient for forming an initial opinion) 1. Excellent both when dry (up to 150–160 km/h on the highway, further on Forestere it’s terrifying on any rubber, the aerodynamics are not the same) and when wet (70–80 km/h in the city) because the rubber is quite soft for the summer, whereas the same Dunlop is many times tougher. 2. Drainage zero at speeds of 55–60 kilometers per hour on straight wheels throws on the hood and lobar in a puddle that is 5-7 centimeters thick, despite the fact that there was no aquaplaning. 3. Rolly and squeaky in the corners (70–80 kilometers per hour, 100 degrees) This, however, is to be anticipated from a material as soft as rubber. 4. Silent, in contrast to the Dunlop Grandtrek, which, you guessed it, can be seen on the tread. In general, surprisingly nice for the price, however you probably shouldn't try to fly through any puddles.

Pros
  • low noise Holds dry and wet asphalt well (it is not yet apparent whether this is a plus or a drawback) Softness (it is not yet clear whether this is a bonus or a minus) Price
Cons
  • There is absolutely no source of available water.
