Hello everyone, I want to share my experience with winter Velcro! In the fall of last year, I got a brand new CLS. Accordingly, the question arose of choosing winter tires. Based on the recommendations, reviews of friends and my own experience (I have been driving for 14 years, I have traveled on different wheels), I opted for a non-studded one, since I drive 90% of the time in Hong Kong. I settled on MICHELIN XL PILOT ALPIN 4 255/40 R18 99V. I’ve been driving for 3 months now, I’ve driven more than 5000 on them. I didn’t make a mistake with the choice, the tires are very quiet, the handling both on snow and on dry and wet pavement is excellent! Brakes very well, grabs quickly. Separately, I want to note the passage of turns! For the first time I do not experience depression when switching to winter wheels, there are no rolls, it holds the road excellently, a feeling of complete control, especially when ESP is turned off :) I am completely satisfied with the rubber, I did not reveal any shortcomings during use!
