I looked this up when I was looking for black shoes for my kid that weren't too structured; He's a bit picky about shoes and wants maximum mobility and these seemed to fit the bill. The sole is flexible but thick enough not to puncture anything. The upper is made of mesh, but is similar in thickness to a sports shoe. The shoes are wide too. So if you are struggling to find a shoe that fits your child's small fins, I would say they will probably fit you. However, these shoes are shipped with the help of a foreign company and therefore neither I nor Revane were able to track the package. They just arrived in my mailbox after a couple of weeks with no warning or instructions. If being able to deliver a product very quickly with full tracking is important to you, I would take that into account when ordering this product.
