so this item works and the velcro straps are comfortable but as they say there are some problems. At first the velcro on the adapter worked after a few minutes of use, throwing the pad out and causing scratches. This was somewhat overcome with better pads. But after a few more uses the velcro on the adapter fell off, the glue holding it up isn't up to the task so overall it works, but if you're looking for something that can be used for more than a small project, this won't be my first choice and if you're trying to buff to a high gloss finish you should definitely look elsewhere. The last thing you want is an almost glassy finish and then scratching it up again with hard velcro. happened to me, it really sucks.
