Perfect Paint Kits for Beginners/Amateurs
Prima Marketing (PM) sensibly assembles these paint kits and packs them into a premium metallic palette. The paints themselves are fairly high-end "student quality" but understandably lack information on the lightfastness and pigment composition that artist-level paints offer. I dabble in both school and art level watercolors. To be honest I have no complaints about the PM colors in the two sets I have (Terrain, Pastels). A note: you will find that some colors are more opaque than others. After all, for that price you get the ability to confidently paint your heart with pretty premium materials.
