Charging power is lost.
It occupies both USB ports and gives you 2 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports, but only 1 of these USB-C ports allows fast charging and the other 3 are just a trickle free; Extremely slow. So now 2 devices can't be fast charged, defeating the purpose of 2 built-in fast chargers in Tesla.
