Not suitable for car
This is a well made gas cap but you can tell it is an OEM replacement. It didn't seem to fit my 2007 Mercury Mountaineer 4.6 V8. The car had trouble starting with this gas cap. The check engine light does not come on, it is difficult to start. I bought it because the cable on my original gas cap broke.
