Review on 🧵 Ultimate Transparency: SINGER 00260 Clear Invisible Nylon Thread by Sasha Hsiao

Love trying color combinations with brightly colored patches so no Girl Scout family! I didn't even know transparent thread was a thing. I accidentally stumbled across this. My middle school daughter can hand sew with thread and I just learned how to use a sewing machine. Both of my daughters are VERY active in Girl Scouts and fill the back of the vest with fun badges and the front with lots of hard-earned badges. They both already had something attached to their vests (handsewn in matching colors. I have painful memories of doing it by hand), but I still had a lot of stuff to wear, so I got to work. I'm new to sewing so I've made a lot of mistakes, wasted thread etc when trying to sew patches. Based on the amount of work for each vest I would say there was enough thread for a very full vest. I used the thread from above and also in the bobbin. Again new to using a sewing machine so didn't know how to match the bottom thread to the color of the vest and just use the more expensive clear thread for the top of the badge. I will do it in the future! Oh, and it goes without saying that as a sewing novice you really have to pay attention to spot all of my horrible mistakes!
