This tent is surprisingly easy to set up. No poles or wires, it simply unfolds from the pocket, you press the top until it clicks into place and you're done! You can then attach the canopy, which closes securely with Velcro, to the upper rungs. It's also very easy to take off, but it's sturdy so it won't fall off unless an adult puts pressure on the bars from above. My baby loved being in it - both my husband and I fit in comfortably with her. It was like a cozy fortress for us! We love it when it's open inside and we plan to take it on nature trips. I only had an air mattress that was placed inside so the floor could be softer. That's enough on carpet and lawn, but not on cement or parquet floors. Also, the removable mattress can be washed while the bottom it currently has is neither removable nor washable. I would recommend buying a waterproof tarp to get in if you have a small child or toddler that might stain the floor. Overall, I highly recommend this wonderful play tent!
