It's amazing! I've seen metal polish like this before. It smells awful, and the amount of tan that comes off will stain your hands, cleaning cloths (and paper towels), and anything else it comes in contact with ashen black. He WILL GO - with some effort). But shine, shine, shine! I had an antique glass lid that I thought might be tarnished silver. So I used this material and it shone like silver. But to be sure, I used the rare earth magnet test. nope Not silver; but it looked like this! I could fool myself if I knew better - and no, 19th century American silver was not marked as such.
