3 inches as they say the bike will ride on pebbles.

2007 Wide Glide. RIGID drive springs in any case. I have a 195 so maybe I'm too light, but if you cut the PVC padding down to 3.3", as they say, the bike will go through a pebble in the road. It was possible to create a rigid front end with equal success. I shortened them to 2.5" and used 5 fork oil and all is fine. Easy to install. The product is poorly designed, just sells well.
