Description of πŸ›΅ Enhance Ride Comfort with Progressive Suspension 37530 10-2002 18" Drop-in Fork Lowering Kit

Drop-In fork lowering kits have transformed a once messy, and time consuming install into a cake walk. Pull up to two inches out of the front end of your bike without the hassle of disassembling the forks or even changing out the oil and the whole process can be done with basic tools. Shorter springs and Progressive's new secondary compensation spring make short work of the formerly complicated act of lowering your front end. No special tools required. Easy to install.

The kit is very easy to install

The kit is very easy to install, just follow the instructions. My 2014 Street Bob looks great paired with the 412 progressive shocks. Word of caution but if you pull out the old spring you've got plenty of shop towels, it made quite a mess. Oil aside it was a great kit and a great price.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • speed

2008 dyna fxd best in shocks, stays and suspension

For me this is exactly what I was looking for. A simple install in under an hour reduced the front height by just over an inch, you can make it lower if you like, depends on where you cut the shim height and make your bike model. I've ridden the bike about 100 miles so far and imho it's better than the stock suspension.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

3 inches as they say the bike will ride on pebbles.

2007 Wide Glide. RIGID drive springs in any case. I have a 195 so maybe I'm too light, but if you cut the PVC padding down to 3.3", as they say, the bike will go through a pebble in the road. It was possible to create a rigid front end with equal success. I shortened them to 2.5" and used 5 fork oil and all is fine. Easy to install. The product is poorly designed, just sells well.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Repair

Good service! for shocks, struts and suspension

My progressive suspension 'lower fork' kit (bought through Revain at the powersports supermarket) for my Harley Street Bob arrived much earlier than promised and was well packaged. The kit had good instructions and was fairly easy to install, but the ad said "can be installed with common home workshop/garage tools". know who had it in their "home workshop" had to borrow one from my brother-in-law who is a professional mechanic).

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic transmission

Super easy way to lower your bike.

I've always been happy with Progressive Suspension products and this kit is as good as ever. I installed the kit on my wife's 2008 FXDL Low Rider. We lowered the rear shocks an inch and this kit helped straighten the bike. It is very easy to install and the instructions are easy to follow. There is no need to remove the forks from the bike. It should be noted that the white plastic spacers will need to be trimmed to get the desired height for your bike. You should be careful to trim them…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
