For my cat. fits heat lamps
I've bought 50w, 100w, 150w bulbs in the past. This bulb provides constant warmth over my cat's oval, soft, covered bed. Since no light is emitted, it does not disturb sleeping. When it's cold outside, he comes into the garage and warms up whenever he wants. I will buy again. I don't know how long the bulb lasts, but it stays on all the time. He sleeps 12 to 18 inches from the lamp. It is important NOT to use a plain plastic bulb socket. Pottery is a must.
