A high quality zip and velcro allows you to zip the heater up while still allowing access to the heated grip for carrying. Surprised to find a shoulder strap as it wasn't shown in the product photos. Good webbing but the plastic buckles are standard buckles and are more likely to break on impact in the cold. Practical side pockets for additional bottles. It has a zippered back pocket and a clear front pocket with 2 velcro closures, although I don't know their heating-related purpose.
