Review on ☕ Delonghi EC860: Stylish Stainless Steel Espresso Maker for the Perfect Brew by Dean Ledet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product! for espresso machines

I received my De'Longhi EC860 yesterday. The Revain shipping box that the product box was placed in was loose and the tape came off even on one side. I assume this is due to it falling off when looking at the box. After opening the outer box and removing De'Longhi's packed box, it was found that he had fallen very roughly. One of the top corners of the box was crumpled like an accordion, and the box itself was all torn and tattered. I was terrified to even open this package, but I proceeded, and when I opened the box, to my relief, the machine itself was completely encased in molded foam. When I took the car out of the box to inspect it, no damage was found and all the accessories were fine as well. I plugged it in and it seems to be working fine. After the extraction, reading the instructions for use and watching the DVD that came with it, I got down to the surgery and set about making my first cup of latte. I used the default preset to make the first 4 cups of latte as directed. Since my wife then prefers a little more milk and coffee, I reprogrammed the machine according to the instructions. I made my 5th latte and it came out perfect and tastes great! The most important thing is to remember to follow the instructions and you will not be disappointed. (Note: I had trouble viewing the DVD initially. I quickly discovered that it was formatted for a Blu-ray player.) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the packaging. Time will tell if there was any major damage. I will update in 2 or 3 months to give you a sequel.
