Review on 🚀 Enhance Performance with the 2003-2005 FORD Thunderbird K&N Cold Air Intake Kit by Chris Wagner

Despite the Revain installation instructions and K&N product description, this part also fits the Lincoln LS without modification (because the LS and T-Bird are identical under the hood). The sound is fantastic and I felt the increase in performance on the first test drive. The kit looks amazing under the hood like it should have been there all along. Only downside is that the hoses supplied by K&N for the evaporator and PCV vent are a size too small. The factory evaporator hose is larger and fits better, but I used white lithium to tighten it. I'll probably change the PCV hose to a larger size as well, but for now I'm going with the hose that came with it. Be careful when removing the PCV fitting on the end of the valve cover as it can easily break, especially if you don't disconnect it before removing the air cleaner cover (like the previous owner/mechanic did on mine). I finished the project with a red RC-5106DR dry charger which nicely encases the filter and completes the look.
