Review on Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone 20 Ultra (SM-N985F) 8/256 GB RU, black by Anastazja Kowalik ᠌

How could such a bad product be made?

I didn’t manage to use it for a long time - for the main and very good reason, a drawback: when reading from the screen, my eyes begin to “soap” and the focus is dispersed literally after 30 seconds. As if wearing glasses with the wrong deopter. After a few minutes of trying to continue reading - the eyes begin to hurt a lot, and after that - the head. Attempts to watch with and without glasses, playing with the refresh rate of the picture, screen resolution, temperature, and so on, did not give any result. It didn’t work out right away to hand over the device to the store (bought in 1galaxy) - they took it for diagnostics with a request for a refund. There may be a marriage of the screen, but most likely they will return it with the conclusion that everything is fine - you will have to sell it somehow or give it to someone who may not have such a reaction. I have been using Samsung products for a very long time, the last 5+ years - with the Note line. I simply did not expect such an effect for its price: the Note 9 had the effect of a miracle (it was bought on pre-order), some deep disappointment remained from this phone. It remains to be hoped that this is a marriage, and I was terribly unlucky with the purchase, but at the moment the samsung 20 ultra is simply pointless for me personally to evaluate - and it is impossible to use. : the answer of the store - there is no marriage, enjoy. Ready to sell this miracle at a discount - write to anyone who needs it

Pros
  • Initially and historically - the capabilities of samsung: - stylus (I use it regularly to draw diagrams during video conferences) - screen sharing on samsung TVs - photos, videos and movies from sites, as a result, historically, they simply stopped using some content on the TV itself - everything from Samsung phones (occasionally from flash drives on the TV) - accumulated "credit of trust" to Samsung's flagship phones - waiting for the "wow" effect
Cons
  • The main and global drawback for me specifically: it’s impossible to work with the screen, when reading the text specifically, my eyes begin to defocus / soap, then it hurts a lot, and then my head starts to hurt. Among other things: - The size is too big, despite the fact that I used Note 4 before buying the 20th Note 9 - it turned out to be even larger, and taking into account the need to close the protruding cameras, it is much thicker. - I didn’t manage to use the camera a lot - but initially it feels like the size of the optics is scanty (despite the fact that it is larger than that of Note 9) and when the center of the picture changes, everything that is not in the center is distorted. You shoot the rectangle at the top - it becomes a trapezoid in one direction, you shoot it at the bottom - in the other. And this despite the fact that the house is rented at a distance of 50 meters. Perhaps after the shooting it is corrected by the software, but I didn’t like it very much.
