First of all, I would like to point out that they did not work for me as I expected. I installed tubeless 50mm carbon rims and forgot I needed the stems attached to the wheel. They have no thread to attach the lock nut and can easily be pushed into the rim, allowing air to escape. However, as a product this is a much better option than using extensions that screw onto the Presta core when it is difficult to check the pressure with a standard gauge and it is necessary to insert a piece of wire or a spoke into the Insert shaft to release the air. The Presta core screws directly into the stem, making the above tasks easy to accomplish. Be sure to put some teflon tape on the threads before screwing in the valve stem.
