I like these containers for food storage. Things like rice, flour, sugars that don't seal well and should be airtight. These are perfect for that. I love these lids because they fit well, snap on tight, then seal. The varying sizes of these containers make for a very good variety. They come nested into a couple of piles, so storing ones you aren't using is a bit easier. When they are filled, you can stack them securely. The plastic doesn't seem to hold odors. The set comes with a cute set of labels and a white chalk marker, so you can not mix up your coffee and decaf. This is a good number of decently sized containers for the price. Very useful and nicely designed.
